“WWE has come to terms on the release of NXT first season rookie Daniel Bryan (Bryan Danielson) as of today June 11, 2010. We wish Daniel Bryan the best in all future endeavors.”

Posted by WWE.com

Since this statement was released I’ve been bombarded with messages asking me if it’s real, and by now I’m sure that most people know that it is.

WWE is very serious about adhering to their PG guidelines, and apparently my actions during the NXT attack on John Cena, namely choking announcer Justin Roberts with his tie and spitting in Cena’s face, crossed the boundaries of what is considered “PG.” Perhaps the choking was too violent or perhaps the spit was too demeaning. I apologized for both immediately following the incident; but I would be a hypocrite if I apologized for putting everything I have into the attack. I would much rather have gone too far than to come up too short.

As with anyone who gets fired from their job, especially when they feel its unjust, I am angry. Very angry. But I can’t fault WWE for how they handled my release. My contract contained a 90 day no-compete clause in the event I was let go, yet the WWE has graciously allowed me start wrestling again on any show that’s not taped for television or pay per view.

So with the negatives there also come positives. Before I got signed by WWE last October, I worked hard to bring new fans to independent wrestling. But with most of us having little national exposure the only thing we could do was wrestle our hearts out and hope for word of mouth. Now that I’ve appeared on WWE television in front of millions of new fans, things are different. My goal is to garner as much interest in independent wrestling over the next 90 days as I possibly can. I hope that some of the people who enjoyed watching me wrestle on TV will give independent companies such as Evolve, Dragon Gate USA and Ring of Honor a chance. I think most of you would enjoy the intimacy between the fans and the wrestlers and the intensity of the action; if you ask the fans who went to the Chikara or AIW shows I was on this weekend, I’m sure 99% of them had a great time. So if you’ve never been to an independent show, go ahead and dip your toes in... you might find that the water is pretty nice.

As far as what happens after 90 days, nobody knows. I’ve “heard” that TNA is interested. There are petitions going around to get me back into WWE and the last several weeks there have been fans chanting my names at their shows. People have even brought signs showing their support. And though most of the signs get taken away and though WWE may not be listening to your chants or petitions, I truly appreciate all the support over the last several weeks. It is both overwhelming and heartwarming. But regardless of what offers come in, I am in no rush to make any rash decisions. I enjoy my freedom as much as I enjoyed the benefits offered by being in WWE. My future, as usual, is uncertain. But I am enjoying my return to the independents. I’m hoping to see some of you there.

  2. You are the reason why I started watching WWE programming once again. Many of your fans from around the world want to see you go back to the WWE and some day see you main event at Wrestlemania. If WWE offers you a contract to come back, please take it. And please, don't go to TNA, I don't want to see Lloyd Boner vs. Wolfe.

  3. Hope to see you sooner than later in TV. The ones that we are far to see you live today we don't wanna miss more Bryan Danielson's wrestling.

    Best regards.

  5. I honestly hope Vince resigns you. It would be great as you would turn out to be the anominous GM.

If not I hope you return to ROH which I put far above TNA

  6. Eugh, forget TNA. Hopefully WWE will have you back when it all blows over. If not, just keep doing what you do! Hopefully we'll see you back in the UK sometime.

  7. Thank you for bringing fans to the indy scene. Definitely hope to help it out, if you ever have a press release or anything let us at http://www.ProWrestlingPonderings.com

  8. Interesting read. I really wish you the best.
I hope that you will end up in the WWE again because they need guys like you. Experienced workers who are still young enough to become Hall of Famers. If you won't be in WWE again, I hope people will see you in ROH. But man, I want to see you in a Wrestlemania main event vs Jericho or Punk. But who knows.
Good luck. Much respect from Germany.

  10. you were the best thing going in WWE, the main reason i was watching it

was it PG when Vince Mcmahon spat in bret harts face a couple of months ago?

    good luck in the future

  11. Glad to finally hear from you Bryan, good luck with everything bro. If ya ever need anything (Press, Interview, etc.) holla at me, love to hear from ya about this whole stuff.

  12. I've always respected and embraced, that WWE has tried to be a little something for everybody; a bit of nostalgia, a bit of comedy, a bit of cleavage, a bit of superhuman faces, a bit of high-flying etc. I just don't see why we can't have our bit of the indies to add to that menu.

For the past several years I have been on-and-off about watching wrestling. I go through periods such as the annual WrestleMania-build-up, where I am intense about it, and then for long periods I just can't be bothered.

I think the only thing that would guarantee me as a regular viewer over long time-periods is an extended run by Bryan Danielson (or Daniel Bryan, just as fine a name as far as I am concerned).

  13. Best of luck Bryan. Your appearances on WWE were one of the things that got me back into wrestling and I hope I get to see you back on an international stage at some point, but for now, I think it's great that you're doing your best to bring more attention to the indies. Do you have any plans on making any visits to the UK in the near future? Would be great to be able to see you wrestle in person.

P.S. Well jealous about the Beasts of Burden art piece Jill Thompson did for you!

  14. Great to hear about the situation from your vantage point. Don't ever stop giving your all, I speak for mostly everyone when I say we appreciate and enjoy it!

  15. I'm not quite sure how you're let go but the rest are still there...whatever. It's just the hypocrisy that I hate. You're better than that. You are the only reason I continued to watch NXT and I have never seen season 2. It doesn't have you in it!!!

But I will definitely be seeing you on the independent scene :D

  16. Glad that you are looking on the positive side of things, was really annoyed when I heard WWE had fired you as you and Chris Jericho were the only two wrestlers that had kept me interested in the WWE over the last few months since Shawn Michaels retired.Really irritates me that David Otunga is on Raw each week and your not!

I hope you make it back to WWE eventually and until then I'll try to catch some of your indie matches online if I can,and if you feel like doing a tour of the Irish indies it would be awesome(a man's gotta dream!)

    Anyways,Best of luck Bryan!

  17. I hope you DO NOT go back to the WWE. Let's face it, if that was Cena/Orton, etc that chocked Roberts with a tie or spit we wouldn't be having this conversation. At the very worse they would have been suspended. As far as I am concerned, why would anybody work for somebody that didn't stand behind them. BTW.. Didn't Brett Hart beat Vince with a chair at WM? Hit him like 10 times or more.. My guess is that the WWE didn't have grand plans otherwise you would not have been let go.

If Paul Heyman takes over the book for TNA I think that would be the best destination for you.

  18. Bryan, I can honestly say that it was seeing you that made me a fan of my local company when you can and wrestled Eddie Edwards in front of around 100 people in Rochester, NY back in Nov. of 2007. Now, I'm happy to see I get to see your return to Squared Circle Wrestling on August 22nd.

I'm very happy that you wish to try to bring more people out to Indy shows and I hope that you are successful in doing so. Some of the best talent in the world today doesn't have a big contract or a national stage with which to preform on.

I wish you the best in whatever you choose to do and again, can't wait to see you wrestle on August 22nd.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Problem with the ind. is that I live three blocks away from West Park party center and had no clue you wrestled there til day after. I am a big fan and was so upset. There are so many ind. I cant follow. But im trying. Sorry I missed it.

  20. I still believe WWE made a mistake in releasing you. I also feel WWE goes a step too far when they take away fans' signs demanding the company re-hire you. I've also heard Cena and Jericho praise you and wish WWE would change their minds about you. There are even WWE fans who believe you are Raw's new anonymous GM.

I see great things for you in the future. You're right, for the first time I give a damn about the independant wrestling scene. Keep up the good work, man. I think it's going to pay off for you very soon.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Hopefully WWE re-sign you. I've watched wrestling for over 20 years and it has been boring for me for the last 10. You made Monday nights interesting again. I'm tired of seeing huge, talentless hacks trying to wrestling. I wanna see pro-wrestling as it should be, with talented wrestlers who have genuine mat skills.

    ReplyDelete
  22. great write up. You are one classy man. Can't wait to see you take the NWA title from Pearce this August in Charlotte, NC.

Also I hope to see you in ROH sometime in the near future cause the world needs another contest between the American Dragon and the Fallen Angel

    ReplyDelete
  23. I was absolutely reluctant to believe the firing was true. I always said I'd buy it when I saw you in TNA (and I hope to god I don't. Look what they did to Nigel).

WWE made a mistake of massive proportions. I hadn't been excited about WWE since The Rock's days, and Bryan Danielson brought back that excitement, especially when the first NXT episode may as well have been called the "Daniel Bryan Show".

You may be better off without WWE. At least you'll have the freedom to really show what a great wrestler is. In the end it's WWE and the mainstream fans who are on the losing end. I am not worried about your future.

    ReplyDelete
  24. No.. don't even think of going anywhere besides WWE after 90 days.. YOU NEED TO GO TO WRESTLEMANIA!!!! You are the only one capable of making a Shawn Michael quality match in Wrestlemania. Let it be Chris Jericho vs. Bryan Danielson and BAM! Instant CLASSIC Wrestlemania 27!!

    ReplyDelete
  25. Go to TNA,
Danielson Vs Angle would be absolutely immense

    ReplyDelete
  26. Mr. Danielson,

Thanks for your passion for wrestling. I've only had the pleasure of seeing you in person for a WWE Darkmatch (in Oakland, CA I wanna say 2008?), but I've watched a lot of your work in ROH and abroad. Any company would be lucky to have you in their roster.

    ReplyDelete
  27. If it's any consolation, WWE's facebook page had a poll asking if the fans wanted you back and a lot of people said yes. I doubt they'd do that if they really wanted to say goodbye to you. Just think of it as the drama in a romance before the girl (in this case, WWE) jumps back into your arms apologizing for getting into the big fight that led to the split in the first place.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Your signing with the WWE made me more excited about their product (which I've followed since 1987) than I have been in years. I'll certainly check out more Independents, but I do hope you are able to bring your brand back to the big show. They need you.

    ReplyDelete
  29. You have such a lawsuit if these specific guidelines weren't explained to you in detail.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Going to TNA would be a huge mistake. You would be misused greatly. WWE was booking you just fine, until they decided to fire you for no damn good reason. Even DRUG USERS get 3 strikes, but you got no warning whatsoever. As bad as their management is, and sometimes their booking, TNA is a creative black hole. Unless they change things fast, I would look to going back to WWE whenever possible.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Please dont go to TNA, they're so over the top with everything that its just hard to watch anymore. I dont mean over the top regarding action, i mean over the top regarding characters and promos and storylines and all that. Its all just so stupid. Please dont go anywhere other than WWE or Ring of Honor, like another said Wrestlemania NEEDS you! I plan on going next year so hopefully theyll bring you back and give you a match at WM27.

Thanks for coming to Cleveland for the 2 shows by the way, it was awesome meeting you and seeing your perform like, an hours worth of wrestling.

    ReplyDelete
  32. What in god's name would they re-name you in TNA?!? And they've showed us they have no idea how to use major talent. Look at Nigel (Wolfe), they are ruining him.

    ReplyDelete
  33. You made WWE more entertaining than Cena saying "bologna, cheese, and mustard" and "candypants564@gmail.com". You make the independents even greater than they already are. It's impossible to watch videos of you on Youtube without being amazed. You are such a class act. Keep doing what you're doing, because it's really awesome. Good luck with whatever you decide to do in the future.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Daniel man, My uncle told me about you one day. The first match I ever watched you in was the 6 man tag match you were in with DiBiase. From that moment I was hooked man. I have never seen submission moves like that in my life. You may or may not ever go back to WWE, but no matter what man I will keep watching. You made NXT what it was and now they are giving Kaval what I call the "Danielson Treatment". you and Kaval are in my eyes the 2 best wrestlers ever. I have never seen a match between 2 people where the fans started a "This is wrestling" chant. If you ever come down to Florida I will do my damndest to come and see you man. YOU ARE THE GREATEST IN THE WORLD!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  35. I personally feel that you've handled this whole thing really well, Bryan. It takes alot of courage to put up with something like this with quiet, dignity and grace.

As far as the Indies go, I never gave up. I only hope that you can see what I do in the ring for places like ROH, DragonGate, ect. There's something so beautiful there.

Okay, perfect example! There was this time that I stood near the ring with my camera, the night you pelted Jimmy Rave with toilet paper in April of 2009 for ROH. When you were done pelting him but before you got in the ring, you had this look on your face, like you were running through the match in your head before even touching the ring. I could see the gears turn (so to speak) so I snapped a picture. Once you were in the ring, you paused. You were sizing up Rave and he was doing the same. For the whole match, you two moved gracefully until the finish, and by the time the bell rang, I could see in your eyes you were already thinking about training for the next fight.

This is how Indy matches go, it's beautiful, it's why I wanted to be a cartoonist. I wanted to capture that light on paper. So I try to keep up with as many places as I can.

  36. Am Drag, it was an absolute honor getting to see you live at the CHIKARA show in Cleveland this past Sunday. No matter what company you do end up with, I'm sure you'll make a difference there as only you can. BEST WRESTLER IN THE WORLD.

  37. Since I can't get to all of your shows, I hope to see you on TV again.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Please don't return to the WWE. They don't need you; IMHO TNA could use your abilities and unique talents.

It would be in your best interest (wrestling) to stay with a company or companies that won't wash out your moves.

    ReplyDelete
  39. I know there are a lot of people backstage that are just important behind the curtain as there are important folks in front of the curtain, but trust me when I say this that your short career in the WWE was something special. Your character was compelling, your capacity to wrestle "intelligent" matches, and the way you carried yourself was something the "smart" fan was craving for...and you were it's poster child.

As folks have said before, and even though you were professional about it in your blog, I'm sure you agree that TNA is not the way to go. There hasn't been an outcry for a rehire like this in a long time! I personally don't believe that your time with the WWE is over and I'm really hoping these 90 days (what is it now, like 75?) go by real fast and just as quick as you were let go, you're let back on. Seriously, with backers like Cena, Jericho, and good ol' JR, it's practically a no-brainer.

As a true fan, I've always loved your matches in Japan and was even surprised that you did time with FMW under a mask! Keep bringing it, kick folks' heads in, and keep true wrestling alive!

    ReplyDelete
  40. I don't care if it's a "work" or if it's real. I know the "American Dragon" Bryan Danielson (Daniel Bryan) will be back soon to the WWE.

Let's face it TNA is for the weak who can't bare to travel a 365 day schedule and who can't sell out arenas.

PG or not! It's still wrestling and you my friend deserve the spotlight. Please come back soon because the Nexus (NXT) group ain't the same without you. I would like ya to kick Cena's head in again.

    Bryan Danielson (Daniel Bryan) FTW!

  41. Bryan Danielson is the Conan O'Brien of wrestling. I just hope you wind up at a better place than TBS.

Great to meet you at the Chikara show the other day (I was the big guy with the "Your Mom: Rated E For Everyone" shirt). Unlike myself, thou art a class act.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Classy words Bryan. You know you have the support of everyone. I just hope you make the right decision, and I hope the WWE gets you back on their programming. You had something great building, and they pulled the plug for over sensitivity. But at the end of the day, as great as you are on independents, you deserve to be with the best. TNA will not use you to the best of your ability, and I hope the WWE offers you a contract at 12:01 the night your 90 day clause is up. Good luck with the Indy's, hope to see you back on mainstream TV soon.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Bryan Danielson you need to be the best in the WORLD. You need to prove it in the World wrestling entertainment. We KNOW you can main event WRESTLEMANIA. You are too good to be in TNA.

  46. Also Im sure the WWE have heard the chants, you made an impact the 5 months you were in WWE and thats a very good things. Not many superstars get this musch support when they are released, especially after only being there for 5 months. You are ready for the big leagues and Im hoping for a good surprise later on. Good luck again Dragon.

  47. I was gonna type out some long, convoluted message about how badly the WWE does things these days, but I don't have to tell you. A few million bucks of production value can't make the product watchable really.

But instead, I'm just gonna say thank you, and welcome home to where you're truly appreciated, and where you won't get buried for doing your job well.

It would be selfish of me to ask you not to go back to Stamford, or to avoid Orlando like the plague. But I'm going to anyway. Then again, it's my own personal bias. I just don't think Hollywood writers should be writing pro-wrestling. Again, that's selfish, however, as a fan of WRESTLING, i'd rather see you on a show that features WRESTLING, and not Sports-Entertainment.

Seems they all forgot wrestling can in fact be entertaining, and that's why there's 15 minutes of wrestling on 2 hour television shows....

I need to not turn this into a bash piece, though I think i might have. At any rate, welcome back, and hopefully I'll see you at Chikarasaurus Rex: King Of Show next month.

  48. It's kind of ironic they release one of the guys who would have been the very best for their family-friendly image. Health conscious, intelligent, hardworking, and talented.

  52. Hey Bryan, before NXT I didn't know who you were, but after that when I've looked you up and have seen some of your matches by way of the net, I was extremely impressed.

I really hope that you are considering making a return to the wwe after this 90 days. There are matches that I would be really excited to see.

Give the indy fans more great memories during this time. But I really want to see memories of you on the big stage to promote that indy spirit!

    ReplyDelete
  53. Bryan, I think there is no doubt and no disagreement between wrestling fans worldwide that WWE made a huge mistake by releasing you.

You said that WWE are trying to have a little bit for everyone. Having you was pretty much the only thing (besides Jericho, though he's being totally misused these days as well) for the more adult pro-wrestling fans.

You've done it all in the indies, and if WWE should re-hire you, I think you should return and be there because you deserve to main-event Wrestlemania, and some day to be in the Hall of Fame. It'd be a HUGE miss for the WWE as well not having you. You bring a lot of "true" wrestling fans, and they already missed one of the great stars, Steve Borden, so they should at least try to get the one who is arguably the best in the world today.

Many of us still hope it's some sort of elaborate "work", either to make more buzz, or to satisfy whoever was displeased by the anti-PG actions.

Can't wait to see you back in ring in ROH or Chikara or any other indy!

    Good luck!

  55. It is nice to see that have you got your blog going. I look forward to seeing what happens with you in the future, although I hope you get back with the WWE or with TNA because it is difficult for me to follow the independent companies, but I do watch them live when ever I can.

I think it is somewhat humorous that the WWE is taking the Daniel Bryan signs. I had one that said I'm with Dragon and they didn't take it from me. I did happen to see a sign on RAW that said Daniel FN Bryan during the Main Event and it made me laugh.

The WWE management better take their heads out of their rear ends and rehire you. I just hope they wounldn't misuse your talent like they have with so many other talented guys like Shelton Benjamin.

  56. As I'm sure others have brought up you have John Cena, the face of the company, the guy who normally twitters in kayfabe break character and make a statement on your behalf (I also watched that match you had with him on Velocity years ago, he's come along way since those yellow pants) Jericho's made a stamenet as well. The Miz has also, but he's Kayfabing it up. Still, your name is on the lips of many people and I think that if enough noise is made the WWE might find it in their best interest to rehire you. If anything this could be seen as a positive thing in the future. As you've said you can get others interested in the independents (myself being one of them) and there's a potential storyline if by chance you do get rehired. The NXT angle has been good but it's quickly getting stale and it would be a good opportunity.

I also, must congratulate you on being the bigger man and trash talking those who wronged you. It serves no purpose and, frankly changing your name and going to another company to deliver a half-hour promo against the competition got boring 10 years ago. Don't burn your bridges. It's not just the most practical thing but also shows your integrity as man.

But, I'm glad you finally commented on the situation, and do hope WWE realizes their huge mistake. I'll do my best to get my "Bring back Bryan Danielson" sign seen when the WWE comes to my area later this year.

And you're going to be in Oberhausen? Damn, I'm not visiting my family in Germany until October, oh well, hope you have a great time! And don't forget to drink some Vita-malz while you're there! :)

  65. I first came across the wrestler Bryan Danielson while searching online for wrestling videos that showed something a little different. As a kid growing up on a diet of big bumps and lots of posing, as was the norm in WWE, coming across scientific wrestling that was exciting, that lasted for more then a few minutes, and showed the wrestler as an athlete was mind blowing. Over time, i've watched more matches of yours then I care to remember. Every time I was treated to a beautifully crafted, well developed, exciting match of yours I learnt something new. When you signed with WWE I was thrilled I'd have the chance to see you on the TV screen instead of a youtube channel.

And so I want to say thank you and that I hope you do resign with the WWE, but if not, then I hope you do whats best for Bryan Danielson.

    Matt

  66. Hey Dragon,

I realize that you have to do what is in your own best interest as far as signing with a company goes after the 90 days has expired. However, I feel compelled to plead with you that if you get the opportunity, please resign with WWE instead of going to TNA. You made WWE the most interesting it has been in probably five years. WWE is "the" place and the big time. Most of the fans that I know want to see you in the WWE and more importantly...at Wrestlemania.

  70. Hi Bryan,

I just want to say that I respect you and hope that whatever happens in your life in the near future that you will succeed. I'm also angry about you being released from the WWE because I know that there have been more controversial issues that happen in that company that were more controversial than what you did. It's sad that WWE had a different turn around about the content shown on TV if this was the 90's it would have been fine. I HOPE that WWE will reflect on this HUGE mistake because it will be there loss I will enjoy your time on the independent scene again and hope you come to Chicago real soon. In the mean time I WILL make it a personal crusade to fight for your job back I am a fan who has signed various petitions and will continue to do so until your back on television. I DONT want to see you in TNA, but WWE dropped the ball if they don't recover it well it's their loss if another company picks that ball up then all is fair in the game of signing GREAT wrestlers. American Dragon you have my support no matter where you go as I said I will keep fighting with every fiber in my being so the whole world can know (if they don't already) how great of an athlete you are take care enjoy your time on the independent and I KNOW that you will be on TV screens wrestling again soon. By the way I am buying that T-shirt

http://www.thepetitionsite.com/25/bring-back-bryan-danielson people help me by signing this together WE can get Bryan back in WWE. Keep chanting his name WE will bring him back

  71. I don't think it was the WWE per say, but its sponsors that threw a hissy fit.

Using your new star power to draw crowds to independent wrestling promotions is a class act. Your dinner's on me if you come to the San Francisco Bay Area. Plenty of vegan options here. =p

I hope you'll be back in the national circuit soon enough, Daniel-san. You need a big spotlight to showcase that you are "Best in the world," after all. As you have experienced the WWE has its pitfalls. However, TNA feels like its being run and promoted by Pokemon (with Psyduck writing everything).

  72. i don't know if i want to see anymore 3 minute bryan danielson matches. all the best to you and your craft. perhaps this is the beginning of the rise of the independents?

  73. I've been a long time fan. I gotta say, I had quit watching WWE until you signed. They're definitely worse off without you there. I'd personally like to see you go to TNA. You've had some great matches with a lot of guys there and I can only imagine what an impact you'd make. No pun intended.

  74. Dude... who cares... WWE was dumb for their actions... I am pissed at their new PG crap and the politics that are involved with that company anyway.
The most important thing is to do what YOU want to do! I will always be a fan of Bryan Danielson no matter what happens.

  75. If you ever wrestle a show in the Washington DC area, I will make every effort to attend!

  76. I am tired of the WWE's generic release notifcation. They should have come up with something like, Because he's the hero the WWE Universe deserves, but not the one it needs right now...and so we'll release him, because he can take it. Because he's not a hero. He's a silent guardian, a watchful protector...an American Dragon.

  77. I'm a new fan of yours and in very little time you are what I consider the best wrestler out there and the next big thing. Period.

You made your own destiny. It is obvious to me that you'll headline Wrestlemania eventually. I believe in you!

  78. MMA perhaps? Maybe crush a can or two...?

  79. don't waste your time with TNA. as soon as those 90 days are up, you should head back to WWE and see how things turn out the 2nd time. all you did was do your job.

  80. I've never been more angry at a release, ever in my life of watching WWE.

Please, don't go to TNA, I'd rather take a bullet to the head then watch Hogan get more screentime then you.

I still want to see you main event Wrestlemania. But all the best of luck to you Bryan.

If you're not signed back to the WWE in 2010, I am done with the company.

  83. Fellow Bobcat here, few years ahead of you (2002). Keepin' my eyes out on your career. Something tells me your WWE days aren't over--there's just too much there to leave behind. It'd be one thing if you Muhammad Hassan'd someone, but nothing you did crossed the "real" line, just the made up one. Anyhow, keep up the good work, and keep reppin the A-Town!! ---Harold P.

  84. I really hope you come back to WWE. I've been boycotting the company ever since they released you because it just wasn't right they way they let you go.

I put up with a lot of crap from them from the Lita/Kane angle to the devaluing of Gail Kim long enough, but you being released was enough to make me stop caring about WWE.

I can only hope you manage to get better and come back stronger with everything they should have let you bring to the table. WWE has no idea how good a wrestler they had when you were around.

  85. carful we you go back wwe has banned the use of chopping the chest Very dumb chops are the best thing to get a crowd going RAAAR wwe sucks

  86. In all honestly, why bother with We Wont Entertain? Why bother with Total Nonsense Acting?

Wrestling was better when it was wrestling. Not a poorly acted soap opera.

It's called MMA now. As a guy who knows submissions (storyline or not, you do have the skills to compete in MMA), why not test those waters?

If the WWE is banning chops...it's because Flair retired and went to the competition. What's next, outlawing the leg drop because Hogan is in TNA?

The business that was professional wrestling is dead. Do yourself a favor and try MMA. At least when you hook up a choke, you wont get fired if it's "Too violent!".

    Best of luck.

  89. Bryan, you are the greatest!
As a young wrestler myself you have been a role model.I've been told for the past 2 years that I don't have the "look" even though I'm very athletic(I lack the body mass the "real wrestlers" have).

But seeing you go out there and put on some of the best matches I've ever seen, is simply inspiring. I hope to see you back in the WWE or Ring of Honor very soon.Just don't go to that lame old TNA

  90. Hi Bry!
Here, in the spanish wrestling community we're still shocked about your release and we hope to see you back in the WWE sooner than later. We all know it, you are the most indicated indy wrestler to make it in the WWE. As like your fans comment here, please, don't go to TNA, just watch how is Nigel getting screwed there... We need you in the WWE ^^

Well, it's your decision and McMahon's, but we'd be very glad if you return there and kick some f'n heads in ^^, you were my new reason to watch WWE.

I wish you all the luck in the world!

  91. Bryan Danielson IS independent wrestling. For me, the American Dragon going to WWE was the worst news ever. So I'm very happy that Danielson goes back where he belongs: Indy Wrestling.

It's in Indy Wrestling that Bryan Danielson gave us all he got. Just to name a few examples, we can think of his matches in ROH against Nigel McGuiness, Jimmy Rave, Spanky or Austin Aries!

Let's face it : we'll never see a classic Danielson match in WWE. WWE would just not allow good matches!

Dragon, you're the BEST WRESTLER IN THE WORLD! Don't waste any time in WWE or TNA. Please!
